How Individual Coaching Works
Each engagement begins with a thorough assessment of your organization’s leadership environment, then develops tailored strategies to build on your strengths and equip you for greater success.
The coach works with accomplished managers to enhance their leadership skills. Together, we set goals to improve performance and satisfaction. As clients grow, their teams become more cohesive and productive, strengthening the organization.
• Accelerate your leadership growth
• Remove barriers and resolve conflicts slowing team progress
• Coaching can occur at all levels
• Prepare for increased responsibility and accountability
• Individual Coaching
• Succeed early and sustain progress in your new role
• Change habits that hinder leadership
The Coaching Process Includes Three Phases:
Phase One: Assessment, Feedback, Goal setting, and Development planning.
• The Coach conducts 360° interviews with the leader’s key stakeholders.
• The Coach reviews internal assessments and performance reviews and administers additional assessments as needed.
• The coach and leader meet to review assessment results and key stakeholder feedback. The Coach helps the Leader (the one being coached) consider different perspectives, identify common themes, gain insights, and increase self-awareness.
• The Leader and Coach set specific development objectives. The Coach provides development recommendations, and the Leader creates an individual development plan.
Phase Two: One-on-one coaching.
•
The Coach and Leader meet twice a month for confidential coaching sessions to generate insights and support the leader in developing new strategies and leadership practices.
•
At the midpoint of the coaching engagement, the Leader, Coach, and the Leader’s Manager meet to review progress and make any necessary adjustments.
Phase Three: Engagement conclusion and evaluation.
•
The Coach conducts follow-up interviews with the leader’s key stakeholders.
• The Leader, Coach, and Leader’s manager review key stakeholder feedback and progress on goals. They discuss plans for the leader’s ongoing development and formally conclude the coaching engagement.
• The Leader evaluates the Coach and the coaching engagement.
